Buss Ship

The Buss ship is named after the School’s founder, Frances Mary Buss.  Its design is based on North London’s logo of a sailing ship. The ship appears to be travelling through waves of planting towards open playing fields. In its wake (a cobbled path) are three sea animal seats, one of which has carved jellyfish, one starfish and the third a giant octopus.

The sculptor spent a day with the children showing them how to carve and create shapes in stone.
